A Stunning Tuscan Kitchen
The “before” photos are not yet available, but you can see from the “after” photos just how fabulous the kitchen is. For this client’s Lakeview town home located off Lake Shore Drive, I designed a bleached oak traditional cabinet with raised panels. The walls are finished with a paint wash to give that Old World Tuscan feel.
We arched the door openings to the kitchen to create some feminine energy and compliment the arched wood panel above the sink. Brazilian cherry wood flooring and recessed lighting gives additional warmth in the kitchen.
Rich crown molding on the cabinetry gives a majestic look, further accented by the hutch cabinetry that sits opposite the stove and hood. Full-height countertops and backsplashes made of Crèma Bordeaux granite with an ogee edge create a fantastic color palette, pulling the kitchen together.

Custom Fireplace and Beautiful Dining Room
Brazilian cherry is well-priced, and it also looks beautiful, allowing the mixing of many types and shades of wood furniture.
I designed and installed the various layers of the classic mantel and fireplace façade.

Custom Walnut Burl Entertainment Center
We are redoing this client’s entire home, so the entertainment center is just one of the many custom finishes for this delightful client. Made of an exotic walnut burl, this entertainment center includes an art niche for showcasing beautiful artwork.
We also designed and installed an entertainment system, complete with the latest technology that includes an RF remote system, so that the components are hidden behind the stunning doors. A plasma TV mounted on the fireplace sits above a custom stainless steel mantel, façade, and hearth (…to be seen on a future newsletter).
With a “hollywood” bevel, this amazing stone countertop is a rare and unusual stone that is highly textured from a special process.
