Getting Wax Out Of Candle Holders

How does one EASILY clean out the little bit of candle wax that remains in candle holders? It’s EASY! Simply turn on your oven on a low temperature setting. With a sheet of tin foil, turn up the edges approximately 1” on all four sides, making a tray. I like to turn the edges twice to insure the wax wont drip outside of the tray.

Then take your candle holders or votives, and place them sideways on the tin foil in the oven. As the temperature continues to heat up, the wax will start to melt and drip out of the holder onto your tin foil tray. Watch it carefully, and as the wax melts, pull the candle holder from the oven, using protective gear. Quickly wipe the candle holder with a paper towel, and the wax will be removed quite easily!

Make sure that you keep the temperature low enough to not damage the candle holder, and never place any candle holder in the oven that might be damaged by higher heat.
